These terms govern your use of the website at drop-dr.com, operated by Drop Doctor (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2025/521876/07). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Use of the DropDr applications is governed by the application terms presented within those services, which are separate from these website terms.
What this website is
This website is informational. It describes DropDr, the categories of professional on the platform, and the services available through it.
It does not provide healthcare, does not host consultations, does not process bookings and does not hold your medical records. Those all happen inside the DropDr applications.

DropDr is a technology platform
DropDr connects people with independent healthcare professionals and services. It is not a healthcare provider, not a health establishment, not a pharmacy and not a medical scheme.
- The contract for healthcare is between you and the treating professional.
- The contract for medicine is between you and the dispensing pharmacy.
- Clinical decisions are made by the professional, not by DropDr.
- Professionals set their own availability, consultation formats and prices.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site unlawfully, or in a way that interferes with its operation or security.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems.
- Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content except as ordinary search engine indexing.
- Submit false information, impersonate another person, or misrepresent a professional affiliation.
- Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive or infringing.
- Use enquiry forms to send health information, bulk messages or unsolicited marketing.
Intellectual property
The DropDr name, logo, site design, text, graphics and arrangement are owned by Drop Doctor (Pty) Ltd or its licensors and are protected by law. You may view and print pages for your own personal or internal business use. Any other reproduction, distribution or adaptation requires our written permission.
Third-party links
This site links to third parties, including the Apple App Store and Google Play. We are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, and may update content at any time.
Information on this site is provided in good faith and may become out of date. Where information here differs from what is shown in the DropDr application at the time of a booking, the application governs.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, or for loss arising from reliance on general information here rather than on professional advice about your circumstances.
DropDr does not warrant any particular clinical outcome. Healthcare professionals are responsible for their own clinical decisions and carry their own professional obligations and indemnity.
Emergencies
DropDr is not an emergency service. It cannot dispatch emergency assistance and cannot guarantee an immediate response. In an emergency, contact your local emergency provider immediately. See emergency information.
Consumer rights and the cooling-off period
Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 gives consumers a right to cancel certain electronic transactions within seven days.
Section 42 of the same Act excludes services that have begun with the consumer's consent, and goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly. A consultation that has commenced, and medicine that has been dispensed, therefore fall outside the cooling-off right. This is disclosed again at the point of purchase in the application.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
