When getting there is the problem.
For people who cannot travel easily — after surgery, with limited mobility, with a newborn, or simply without transport — DropDr connects you to doctors, nurses and therapists who come to you.
Who comes to you
Availability depends on the professionals covering your area. Search with your location to see what applies.

Browse care categoriesVerify your profile
Upload an identity document and a photo confirming it is you. Reviewed once, then home visits unlock across every category.
Choose the service
Select the specific service you need. Its fixed price is shown before you commit.
Give the address
Full street address plus a map pin. Both matter — the pin for accuracy, the address for areas that map badly.
Add the details that help
Preferred time, access notes, gate codes, who will be present, and an emergency contact.
Pay to confirm
Payment is taken and held. The professional then accepts or declines the booking.
Confirm completion
After the visit, both of you mark it complete. Only then are funds released.
Getting ready for the visit
Small things that make a home visit go smoothly for everyone.
Clear the access route
Make sure gates, driveways and doorways are open and reachable, especially if equipment is coming in.
Have documents ready
Previous prescriptions, discharge notes, test results or a list of current medicines.
Prepare a space
A well-lit room with somewhere to sit or lie down, and a clean surface for equipment.
Have someone present
Where the patient is elderly, a child, or unwell, a second adult present helps everyone.
Why do I need to verify my identity?
Because someone is travelling to a private address to meet you. Verification — an identity document and a photo confirming it is you — protects the professional as much as it protects you. You do it once and it unlocks home visits across every category.
How is a home visit priced?
Per service, at a fixed price the professional publishes, not per hour. You see the price for the specific service before you book, so there is nothing to argue about afterwards. A travel component may apply depending on distance.
When is the professional paid?
Not immediately. Payment is held once you book and released after the visit, when both you and the professional have marked it complete. If something goes wrong, the funds are still there while DropDr reviews it.
What if nobody arrives?
Report a no-show in the app. DropDr reviews the booking, and where the service was not delivered the funds are not released to the professional. You can be credited to rebook quickly, or refunded.
Can a doctor visit, or only nurses?
Both, where professionals in your area offer it. Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, midwives and other care providers can all offer home visits — each within their own scope of practice.
What information does the professional need?
A full street address plus a map pin, your contact number, the service you need, a preferred time, an emergency contact, and any access notes — gate codes, directions, parking, who will be at home.
