Your profession should not be a rounding error.
DropDr's category list covers a lot, but not everything, and healthcare keeps producing legitimate professions faster than any list keeps up. If yours is missing, tell us and we will review it.
Check the existing list first.
Many professions sit inside an existing category under a different name. Requesting one that already exists slows down the ones that genuinely do not.

How a request is reviewed
A new category affects how patients find care, so it is not added lightly.
Is it a distinct profession?
Does it have its own scope of practice, distinct from categories already on DropDr?
Is it regulated?
Which body registers it, and what does that registration permit the professional to do?
Would patients search for it?
Categories exist so patients can find care. One nobody searches for helps nobody.
Can it be verified?
DropDr must be able to check credentials meaningfully before listing anyone under it.
