Your time. Your rate. Your rules.
You decide when you are available, which formats you offer and what you charge for each. DropDr shows patients that information plainly and does not take a cut of your professional fee.
Two ways to make your time available
Use one, use both, or switch between them as your week changes.
Instant availability
Appear in the live list of professionals accepting consultations right now. Go online when you have a gap; go offline when you do not.
- Visible only while you choose to be
- Requests arrive while you are online
- Accept or decline each request
- Good for filling gaps between scheduled patients
Scheduled availability
Publish the appointment slots you are willing to offer. Patients reserve one and both of you plan around it.
- Recurring schedules generated automatically
- Booked slots block themselves out
- Patients can choose you specifically
- Good for follow-ups and for planned work
Clear pricing for professionals and patients.
Professionals control the consultation prices they publish. Applicable payment and platform terms are disclosed before participation and before a patient confirms payment.
- You set the consultation price shown on your profile
- The patient reviews the applicable total before confirming
- Commercial terms are disclosed during onboarding
- Medicine is paid to the dispensing pharmacy directly
- DropDr never takes a margin on medicine or on your clinical work
What a patient sees at checkout
Structure shown for clarity. Actual amounts depend on the professional's published fee and the applicable terms at the time of booking.
Setting a price that works
DropDr does not advise on what to charge. These are the factors professionals tell us they weigh.
Your time, honestly costed
Including the notes, the prescription and the follow-up message — not just the minutes on screen.
The format
A home visit costs you travel and equipment that an online consultation does not.
Your market
Patients compare prices on DropDr. Being visibly out of step invites the comparison you would rather avoid.
Consistency
Patients notice a price that moves. Predictability builds the repeat relationships that are worth the most.
How are platform charges handled?
Applicable commercial terms and payment arrangements are disclosed during onboarding and must comply with the rules governing the professional's practice.
Can I charge different prices for different formats?
Yes. An online consultation, a scheduled appointment and a home visit each carry their own price, which makes sense given they cost you different amounts of time and travel.
How do home visit prices work?
Per service, at a fixed price you publish for each service you offer — not hourly. Fixed pricing is clearer for the patient and avoids the disputes hourly billing creates. A travel component may apply by distance.
Can I change my price?
Yes, whenever you like. Changes apply to new bookings; anything already booked stays at the price the patient agreed to.
What happens if a patient does not attend?
The terms shown to the patient at booking govern it. A scheduled slot you held is treated differently from a cancellation with reasonable notice.
When do I receive payment?
Consultation fees settle according to the payout schedule. For home visits, funds are held until both you and the patient confirm the visit took place — which protects you from a disputed chargeback as much as it protects them.
